Barry Dennis joined ABOUT in 2019 as a Senior Clinical Strategist. He uses his clinical and executive nursing and hospital leadership skills to drive change with clients and ensure their care delivery models are meeting the needs of every patient they serve.
Prior to joining ABOUT, Barry spent 35+ years working for hospitals and health systems in various acute care, behavioral health, and transportation leadership roles, including Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director of Case Management and Utilization Review, and Executive Director of Emergency Services. In the last 12 years, he has been focused on designing and building 100+ transfer/access center models and strategies for some of the largest health systems in the country. He is considered one of the top industry experts in this space.
